Dave Keighly

Saxophone

Dave excels in all kinds of music from all types of Jazz, Blues, Soul, R&B, Pop and World Music. An original member of the legendary Anthill Mob.

Trumpet

Rick took up the trumpet by mistake. Before joining Hip Operation he spent several years touring with bands across Britain and Europe. He also teaches music but everyone knows he's really after the 'Defence Against The Dark Arts' job.

Mark Cain

Vocals

Mark is an original Hip operation member. He has currently enjoyed in excess of 1000 gigs with the band, he has played in a number of prominent Blues and Soul bands in the region.

Stephen Morton

Vocals

Influenced by the likes of Otis Redding, Ray Charles and Paul Rodgers, Steve's soulful vocals have led him to many venues and events throughout the UK. As a vocalist/pianist, he has performed for organisations such as BBC Scotland, Radio Forth (Edinburgh) and the RAF, and for consecutive years as part of The Gateshead International Jazz Festival and Stockton Jazz Festival.
