CHUF Charity Golf Day.

15 JUL 2013

We were delighted to be asked to perform at Close House on Monday 8th July for the CHUF Charity Golf Day.

Among the star-studded guest list were Lee Westwood, Alan Shearer, Rob Bridon, Ant & Dec, Alan Pardew, Grand National winning jockey Ruby Walsh, and Clare Balding.

The annual event has been organised by Close House owner Graham Wylie since 2011 to raise cash for the Children's Heart Unit Fund, and the North East businessman holds a strong relationship with the charity.

Organisers were delighted to raise a six-figure sum from the event, with the help of some money-can't buy' prizes on offer during the evenings auctions, including ‪an electric guitar signed by The Who's lead singer Roger Daltrey, and a chance to play golf with Lee Westwood at Close House‬.

As well as Hip Operation the evening’s entertainment included Liberty X’s Michelle Heaton and a fabulous set from Keane frontman Tom Chaplin.
A great night for a great charity.

Thanks for having us.
