We regularly play in Scotland at the Glasgow Hilton, Glasgow Crowne Plaza, Caladonian Hotel Edinburgh and Glasgow Thistle Hotel to name only a few.We find many of our clients decide on marquee weddings which is always great fun.
We have many satisfied clients and receive many return gigs from our friends at the above venues

Organising a charity Ball is a tricky business to say the least, however with you guys around it makes life so much easier. David Gray
Trombone
As a younger, start-up musician, David been eager to take on whatever came his way, whether it's a gig in the corner of a pub or in the back of a stately hall. With the days of SMTV still fresh in his memory, being on stage with Ant and Dec was especially entertaining for him!
Gareth Weaver
Trombone/Vocals
Obtaining A levels and a Degree in popular, jazz and commercial music and playing music at a professional level including Orchestras, theatre pit orchestras and many function bands.
Chris Roe
Guitar/Vocals
Chris has played with some of the music industries' top professionals in Los Angeles, New York and the UK. Recording with members of Rod Stewart’s band, PIL, and has had songs featured in films such as Something About Mary, MTV road rules and international radio air play.
Rick James
Trumpet
Rick took up the trumpet by mistake. Before joining Hip Operation he spent several years touring with bands across Britain and Europe. He also teaches music but everyone knows he's really after the 'Defence Against The Dark Arts' job.
