Hip Operation - a Newcastle-based wedding band available to perform in the North East and surrounding areas.
Hip Operation can provide several entertainment packages depending on your requirements and budget for your wedding and/or function. We provide high quality entertainment; a versatile wedding band offering a range wedding services.These range from the six piece wedding band through to the full wedding entertainment package.
Package 1 - Hip Operation six piece wedding band as featured in the video on our home page.
Package 2 - Hip Operation six piece wedding band plus our own DJ set. This involves the band bringing extra lighting ( laser lights, moving heads, haze machine). We offer you the option to submit your playlist two weeks prior to your event , therefore making your function entirely bespoke, or you can always leave the playlist entirely to us.
Package 3 - Hip operation six piece wedding band plus live DJ. This gives you an experienced DJ to compere your function.
Package 4 - Hip Operation six piece wedding band plus live DJ, also including a choice of reception music. We can provide anything from a classical guitarist to a jazz trio or string quartet. This will add ambience to your function and all of your musical requirements will be met with only one phone call.
We are often asked to provide additional or alternative forms of entertainment for weddings and events. We have built a sound reputation on reliability and honesty and are trusted by our clients to provide the best.

How it works
All we require is a description of your event, the date, venue and style of entertainment you require and we do the rest. Within a short space of time we provide you with a list of available entertainers and the best possible prices.
Once you have made your choice we handle everything including negotiations, contracts, supervision (if required) all with the convenience of one centralised invoicing point. We are the one stop shop providing ALL of you entertainment requirements.
